Client location：Macau
For this project we worked with Siemens in Macau, and this time our client was MGM.
MGM stores high-valued wines in their cellar which is very temperature-sensitive so the temperature in the cellar should be strictly controlled.
And here’s the problem MGM face:
- Since the wine cellar is far from the control room, MGM uses LoRa wireless technology to monitor the wine cellar temperature.
- However, most of the sensors on the market cannot communicate with Desigo CC which requires BACnet protocol.
What We Do
- We convert and connect.
In this case, MGM needed equipment to convert the LoRa to BACnet. That’s why our adaptor (RBS adaptor) is useful for them.RBS adaptor runs on the sensors’ LoRa gateway and collects MQTT data converts it to BACnet data and passes it to Desigo CC for temperature monitoring, COV, and event notification.
