The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD; Chinese: 機電工程署) is a Hong Kong Government department responsible for the inspection and enforcement of operation and safety of many electricity and gas installations; railways and trams; lifts and escalators; amusement rides; working platforms on building sites; and many other diverse areas
They want to prompt their smart E&M service using wireless technology which call GWIN*.
They picked a Government facility called “Tai Lung Veterinary Laboratory Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department” which is using Johnson Controls’ CCMS for the HVAC

What We Do
We help EMSD to develop an innovative, first-in-HK project that converts Johnson Controls (JC) CCMS BACnet data to LoRaWAN for the monitoring of Government building’s chiller data like motor running time, water flow and temperature, etc…
- Data collection and integration
The project using RBS BACnet adaptor to collect chiller plant data like water temp. , water flow, chiller running hours, etc. from their CCMS - Data conversion
– Once the collected BACnet data from the Chiller will convert to LORA payload and send to their GWIN server for monitoring.– The adaptor is running on Siemens IoT 2050, which is an industrial grade edge computer.
